How To Find Disney Parade Schedules

Disneyland has always had a parade and the theme changes every year. This 2009, the theme became "Celebrate, A Street Party" in celebration of the park's 50th anniversary.

The parade runs twice a day during busy days, one in the morning and the other in the evening. It is best to view the parade at night when the floats are lit up to appreciate their full beauty.

Here are some things you can do to find Disney parade schedules:

1. Go to the official Disney site. Visit http://disneyworld.disney.go.com to view the monthly schedules. Go to the calendar, choose the park, and then view the park schedules by day. The official site's interface is not that user friendly and you may have some trouble navigating though. Still, you will be guaranteed that you are getting the official schedule.

2. Try visiting the unofficial Disney sites that post parade schedules. Here are some of them:

* www.wdwinfo.com - This site claims to be the largest unofficial Disney World guide. The site's interface is more user friendly than the official site itself. It has a posted schedule of the park hours, parades, and fireworks for four months. Click Fireworks/Parades only and the next page will display the calendar for the month and hours when the parades will happen are posted for each day of the month.
* www.wdisneyw.co.uk/ - Choose Park Hours from the left side bar and it will lead you to a page listing a schedule for twelve months. Choose the month when you plan to visit Disneyland and it will lead you to a calendar for that month. You will have to refer to a code legend though because parades and special events are listed in the calendar in code form.

* www.intercot.com - Choose Info Central and it will lead you to a page listing the parades for four months.

3. Ask help from forums. Forums are great venues to find specific information that you need because you can ask questions from actual people who have already been to Disneyland. Forum members can also give you tips on what parades are good and how to make the most out of your Disneyland visit. You can check out www.disboards.com to view conversations about schedules etc. You will have to register to post a question or a comment, though.

4. Call the park for schedules. You may call the park a few days before your visit just to be sure. There have been instances when the park had to change schedules and the sites were not able to update what they have posted.

5. Check the Entertainment Times guide by the park entrance when you get there. Not only will you get the schedule of the parades but their routes as well.

A Disneyland visit is never complete without witnessing the featured parade. Watching the parade completes the fun and festive feeling that Disneyland brings. Do not ruin your Disney World visit by having the wrong schedules and missing the parade itself.
