Hi, my name is Yolanda Travis and I'm with Expert Village. Today you are going to be learning Samba. Samba every time you dance you always dance on the tip of your toes or either in Samba you always wear flat shoes. You never wear thin heels, heels are usually thick so you always dance Samba in thick heels or dance bare foot. If you do the bare foot you always dance on the top of your toes or the ball of your feet as you would say. So let's do our basic step in Samba using the 1 a 2 2 a 2 count, the first thing you are going to do is go 1 on your toe 2 2 is when you are sliding and then you hop. 1 a 2 2 a 2 1 a 2 2 a 2 1 a 2 2 a 2 1 a 2 1 2 3 1 2 3 1 2 3 1 2 3t he idea when you do Samba is when you step forward and go 1 a 2 and replace your feet so when that goes back you are replacing. So it keeps you balanced so it's 1 2 3 replace 1 2 3 replace 1 2 3 1 2 3 1 2 3 1 2 3 1 2 3 and hop.
