It’s true! FUNKMODE completed our first international tour in the Summer of 2009. One of the many cool things we did was hold one of our Music Video Camps with a cool crop of Singaporean children. Every one of them was absolutely awesome and we had a fantastic time. We are so incredibly lucky to get to do work like this. You know how it goes by now … 5 days, 15 hours, become an instant internet star! They chose this song since it was blowin up the charts in Asia (and pretty much the whole world) at the moment we arrived. Most of this footage was shot at and around the YMCA International building where we held our classes. The weather each day was typical tropical Singapore, 86 degrees Fahrenheit with 95% humidity. Yeah, you read right. So give these kids extra props when you watch the scenes where they dance in the streets. The kids ranged in age from 5 to 17 with some dancing for the first time while others had already been at it for years. Each had something special and significant to contribute and we pushed to get the best out of each of them here for you. They were a very silly and fun bunch so we had an excellent week together making this mini-masterpiece. They all hope …
