Part 1 of Ballet “Homage” in ABT’s “Classics 2008″ Tucson
Part 1 of Homage, a 30 minute ballet for all ages (mostly young), Choreography is by Cecily Travsky Winslow Bressel, the Artistic Director of the Arizona Ballet Theatre Company. The piece is choreographed on and performed by students of all ages at its School in Tucson. From Pre-Ballet on up to UA Dance Department Alumni, and some Dancing Ballet-Moms who are also students. The Ballet had its “world premiere” at the Stevie Eller Theatre on the campus of the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona on the evening of May 31 and a matinee on June 1, 2008.
